The Genesis contract is a fully outsourced Temporary and Permanent contract. The service provision includes the management and recruitment of approximately 300 Temporary Workers and approximately 400 Permanent Hires per year. Below is an overview of the purpose of the contract and key highlights

Retinue, Social Housing division, had built up a strong partnership relationship with Genesis Housing Association prior to the award of the integrated temporary and permanent managed service solution. Between March and October 2011, Resourcing Group were awarded an exclusive and initiative permanent volume campaign to support the transformation of Genesis. We were responsible for managing the roles from advert through to offer stage, replacing the internal permanent recruitment team. Resourcing Group spent a considerable amount of time with key stakeholders, understanding Genesis’ HR processes and procedures and as a result successfully recruited all stipulated roles by October. Candidate satisfaction increased by 15% and internal customer satisfaction increased by 10%. Overall there was a considerable reduction in time to hire and cost per hire.

“We chose Resourcing Group to manage our volume recruitment requirements because they were able to provide an innovative solution that met all of our needs in enhancing our attraction strategy and our capability of bringing in talented commercially focused individuals into the organisation. They listened to our requirements, made the effort to understand our culture and recognised the geographical challenges of Genesis’ stock. All positions were filled within the agreed timeframes. I found their project plan approach to permanent recruitment essential in successfully completing such a challenging project. Due to the success of our relationship, we have now agreed a fully integrated recruitment outsource service with Retinue.”
