Notting Hill Genesis has a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team providing support in Saffron Walden, Essex.
Notting Hill Genesis is a prominent housing support provider helping homelessness in the Essex area. The aim of the service is to ensure that our homeless customers achieve their own goals and aspirations through the support and encouragement of our staff.
In various locations, our Support Workers are responsible for delivering excellent outcomes focused support for our customers with varying needs and requirements. They are also responsible for delivering an excellent housing management service.
This is an exciting time to join us as we expand our vision. The primary focus of our services is to support our homeless customers in a range of areas including improving independent life skills and building stability in their life. This includes finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.
Although previous supported housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.
The annual salary for this Support Worker role is £17,745 with excellent benefits.
