ITIL IT Change Manager
Hours: 35 hours, permanent
Location: Kings Cross/St Pancras
Salary: £57,000 per annum

Notting Hill Genesis is currently recruiting for an ITIL IT Change Manager to join their team in London Kings Cross/St Pancras. Reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Manager, the ITIL IT Change Manager role will see you lead IT change management activity across into the business and manage the activities of the cross-functional change teams in delivery.

As the ITIL IT Change Manager you will have responsibility to ensure all requested changes and version releases of applications, services and infrastructure into the live NHG production environment are risk minimised, controlled and communicated. This will include you chairing Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings where you will put forward the evidence for change and ensure testing and user acceptance is completed.

About you

We are looking for a resilient person who has been an ITIL Change Manager previously with at least 2 years experience and has strong knowledge of running the end to end ITIL Management process as you will be supporting around 2600 users.

You will be working closely with other teams so need to have good influencing skills and be able to work well in a team.

You must have an ITIL Change qualification/Service Transition, this is essential for the role. Ideally you will also have Prince 2 foundation at a minimum.

ServiceNow experience would be preferred but this is not essential

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience successfully delivering in a customer focused business, securing value for money and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Experience in the implementation of complex IT Software systems in a complex environment
  • Excellent customer service experience, incl. compliment and complaint handling.
  • Previous Change Management experience for a complex, large and diverse organisation
  • An ability to get things done in a matrix environment through persuasion and influence
  • Experience of operational implementation delivery and change management within a technical, multi-supplier environment
  • Able to articulate the challenges a business operation faces when consistent change is being delivered
  • Able to understand, analyse, interpret and report on operational performance data
  • Good understanding of a range of best practice project and programme delivery (e.g. agile, waterfall) with the emphasis on operational delivery
  • Requirements capture and management including best practice methods and tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Prince2 project management
  • Experienced in the use of Service Management and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication both written & verbal
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Excellent decision making
  • Experience in the project implementation of complex IT Software systems in a complex environment
  • Good understanding of operations and business priorities
  • Ability to effectively manage service delivery through a 3rd party

Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
