2nd October 2025Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management and professional services company, and Retinue, the front-line workforce management specialists, have announced a new long-term contract that extends their seven-year partnership.
Since 2018, Retinue has provided Mitie with a Managed Service Programme (MSP) for the supply and management of its contingent workforce. Under the new agreement, Retinue will continue to manage a specialist supply chain of agencies that provide niche and skilled workers, while also growing Mitie’s direct sourcing channel of flexible talent who apply to and work directly with the business.
The renewed contract will build on the award-winning relationship between the two organisations, with a roadmap to evolve quickly to meet the changing needs of workers, managers, and Mitie’s clients. This includes enhancing the worker experience through Retinue’s AI-powered workforce attraction and management platform, as well as the co-development of several Social Value and ESG initiatives that will build on the success of programmes from the last three years.
Kathryn Dolan, Chief People Officer, Mitie, said: “When I joined Mitie, it was very apparent that we had a great partner in Retinue. It’s important to me that our non-permanent workforce feel part of the Mitie family from their first application through to the work we do together, and I know Retinue are committed to delivering that for our business.”
Graeme Harper, Head of Resourcing, Mitie, added: “Over the last seven years we have created something special with Retinue. Attracting and operating a contingent workforce in 2025 is complicated and will likely get even more so in the coming months and years, especially with the Employment Rights Bill and Finance Bill coming over the horizon and our ongoing commitment to the Modern Slavery Act. I am pleased we will have Retinue by our side to attract the best people whilst keeping us on track with new legislation as it comes into play.”
Audra Giles, Head of Indirect Procurement, Mitie, commented: “I have been here since Retinue first went live and the partnership has continuously developed. This was needed not least because of Mitie’s incredible and sustained growth during this time. We are pleased to enter into a new long-term partnership and look forward to the evolution of the relationship via the introduction of new enhancements from Retinue.”
Jon Bennett, CEO, Retinue, concluded: “Mitie is one of the best-known brands in the UK and one of the largest employers of people. We are thrilled with our partnership and feel privileged to have the opportunity to develop it over the years to come. Everyone at Retinue is passionate about providing cutting-edge solutions for contingent workforces and we cannot wait to implement some of our new ideas and technologies with Mitie.”
